He said to the tiger: "I am the king of the forest."

The tiger did not believe him.

The fox said: "Follow me. Let’s go and see."

狐狸说：“跟着我，我们去看看。”

The tiger followed the fox into the forest.

老虎跟着狐狸走进了森林。

All the small animals saw them and ran away.

所有的小动物看到他们，都跑走了。

The tiger was very surprised.

老虎感到非常惊讶。

He thought the fox was really the king.

他以为狐狸真的是森林之王。

But he didn’t know: the animals were afraid of him.

但是他不知道：小动物们害怕的是他自己。

The fox borrowed the tiger’s power.

狐狸只是借了老虎的威风。

This story tells us: don’t be like the fox.

We should be honest and work hard by ourselves.
