The name of the story is Drops Wear Away the Stone.

故事的名字叫《滴水石穿》。

Long long ago, there was a hard big stone.

很久很久以前，有一块坚硬的大石头。

Many small water drops fell on the stone every day.

许许多多的小水滴，每天都落在石头上。

The big stone laughed at the small drops.

大石头常常嘲笑小小的水滴。

It said, “You are so small and weak.”

它说：“你那么渺小、那么弱小。”

“You can never hurt me!”

“你永远也伤不到我！”

But the water drops did not stop.

但是小水滴从来没有放弃。

They kept falling, day after day.

它们坚持滴落，日复一日，从不间断。

Year after year, they never gave up.

年复一年，它们一直坚持努力。

Slowly, a small hole appeared on the hard stone.

慢慢地，坚硬的石头上出现了一个小洞。

The small drops beat the big hard stone!

小小的水滴，竟然战胜了坚硬的大石头！

This story tells us a great lesson.

这个故事告诉我们一个深刻的道理。

One drop of water is not strong.

一滴水的力量很渺小。

But continuous effort is very powerful.

但是坚持的力量无比强大。

We do not need to be super great at first.

我们不用一开始就特别厉害。

We just need to keep trying every day.

我们只需要每天坚持努力。

In our study, we need the spirit of water drops.
