这个故事的名字叫《凿壁借光》。

Long long ago, there was a boy. His name was Kuang Heng.

很久很久以前，有一个小男孩，他的名字叫匡衡。

Kuang Heng loved reading very much.

匡衡非常喜欢读书。

But his family was very poor. They had no money to buy candles.

但是他的家里很穷，没有钱买蜡烛。

At night, it was dark. He could not read.

到了晚上，天很黑，他不能读书。

One day, he saw a little light through the wall.

有一天，他看到墙上透过来一点光。

It was the light from his neighbor’s house.

那是邻居家的光。

He had a good idea.

他想到了一个好主意。

He used a small tool to make a hole in the wall.

他用一个小工具，在墙上凿了一个小洞。

Now, the light came through the hole.

现在，光从小洞里照了进来。

Kuang Heng read books by the light every night.

匡衡每天晚上都借着这束光读书。

He worked very hard.

他学习非常努力。

Later, he became a very good man.

后来，他成为了一个非常优秀的人。

This story tells us: we should love reading.

这个故事告诉我们：我们应该热爱读书。

We should work hard every day.

我们应该每天努力学习。

No matter how hard life is, we never give up.

不管生活多困难，我们都不要放弃。
