The Turtle and the Rabbit 龟兔赛跑

It’s The Turtle and the Rabbit.

它就是《龟兔赛跑》。

One day, a rabbit sees a turtle.

一天，一只兔子看见了一只乌龟。

The rabbit laughs and says,“You are so slow!”

兔子笑着说：“你跑得太慢啦！”

The turtle says,“Let’s have a race.”

乌龟说：“那我们来比赛跑步吧。”

The rabbit is very proud.

兔子非常骄傲。

He says, “Race me? I’m fast! I will win!”

他说：“和我比赛？我跑得很快！我一定会赢！”

“Ready? Go!”

“预备！开始！”

They start to run.

他们开始跑了起来。

The rabbit runs very fast.

兔子跑得非常快。

He is far ahead.

他远远地跑在了前面。

He thinks, “I’m so fast. I can rest.”

他心想：我跑得这么快，我可以休息一下。

So he stops and falls asleep.

于是他停下来，睡着了。

The turtle walks slowly,but he never stops.

乌龟走得很慢，但是他从来没有停下。

He keeps walking, walking, walking.

他一直爬呀爬，爬呀爬。

At last, he passes the rabbit!

最后，他超过了兔子！

When the rabbit wakes up,it is too late.

当兔子醒来时，已经太晚了。

He can’t catch up.

他再也追不上了。

The turtle wins the race!

乌龟赢得了比赛！

The rabbit is sad.

兔子很伤心。

The turtle is very happy.

乌龟非常开心。

This story tells us:Don’t be proud.

这个故事告诉我们：不要骄傲。

Keep trying, you will win.
