《Borrowing Light through a wall》

In the Western Han Dynasty, there was a poor boy, named Kuang Heng.

He loved studying, but his family had no money to send him to school.

He could only listen to classes outside the school secretly and learned by himself.

He tried to borrow books to read. Moved by his diligence, a rich family let him work, to earn the chance to study.

So he worked during the day, and read books by candlelight at night.

One night, he saw light from his neighbor’s house through a wall crack.

He made a small hole to let the light in. From then on, he studied tirelessly with this weak light .

This story teaches us to never give up learning!  

《凿壁借光》
在西汉时期，有一个贫穷的男孩名叫匡衡。他热爱学习，但他的家庭没有钱供他上学。他只能偷偷地在学校外面听课，并自学。他尝试借书来阅读。一家富贵人家被他的勤奋所感动，便让他做工，以换取学习的机会。于是，他白天做工，晚上则在烛光下读书。有一天晚上，他看到邻居家的光线透过墙壁的裂缝照了进来。他便凿了一个小洞，让光线透进来。从那以后，他就借着这微弱的光线，孜孜不倦地学习。这个故事告诉我们永远不要放弃学习！
