Dear teachers and dear students.  Good morning（Good afternoon,）, everyone.I'm Xiaochenxin from Class 1, Grade 4of Jiaxing Canal Experimental School.  My English name is Star，The story I'm going to tell you today is《Nv Wa Mends the Sky》。

This story is about After Pangu opened the heavens and earth, there were no people in the world. Nvwa molded human beings out of yellow mud according to her own likeness. Since then, people have been living happily on the earth.

The weather is unpredictable, one year, the sky suddenly collapsed, fires raged, floods surged, and wild animals ran rampant and hurt people. Then Nuwa melted fivecolored stones, using them to mend the cracks in the sky.Then,she cut off the four legs of a giant turtle that had lived for ten thousand years and used them as pillars to support the four corners of the sky and earth.

 In this way, the sky was repaired, the four corners were supported, the floods were tamed, the beasts were eliminated, and human life returned to its former happiness and harmony.

尊敬的老师，亲爱的同学们，大家上午（下午）好，我是来自四年级1班的小晨星，我的英文名字是Star，今天我要讲的故事是《女娲补天》。

这个故事讲的是盘古开天辟地后，世上本没有人，是女蜗按照自己的样子用黄泥塑造人类。此后，人们便开始在大地上幸福的生活着。

天有不测风云，一年， 忽然天崩地裂，大火肆虐，洪水滔天,野兽横行伤人。女蜗把五彩石融化，再用这些熔化了的液体把天上的洞补好。然后，她又将一只万年巨龟的四足斩下，把它们用作擎天柱，支撑住了天地的四方。

就这样，天补好了，四个角撑住了，洪水被驯服， 猛兽被消灭，人类的生活又恢复到往日的幸福祥和之中。
