Hello everyone! Nice to meet you here! My name is Lucy. I’m a girl and twelve years old. Today, I'd like to talk about my favorite festival. That is the Spring Festival.

As we all know, the Spring Festival is the most important in China. because it represents reunion and hope for Chinese people. Family members get together and have a big dinner on that day. It's also a great chance for us to visit our old friends.

During the Spring Festival, many celebrations are held in different areas of China, such as buying New Year's goods, pasting Spring Festival couplets, having New Year's Eve dinner, observing New Year's Eve and so on. I think most people like New Year's greeting. It is a way for people to welcome the new, and express good wishes to each other.

But for me, as a child, my favorite part is New Year’s money. People give children some money as new year's gift to express safety wishes for them. Therefore, I can buy a lot of things with it. Also, there is a long holiday during the Spring Festival, and I can enjoy this pleasant vacation with my beloved family. How great it is!
